Product Description

3M™ Bayonet Particulate Prefilters are designed to provide additional particulate protection when used with 3M™ Bayonet Style Gas & Vapor Cartridges (6000 Series) and compatible 3M™ reusable respirators. These prefilters help protect against certain solid and liquid particles, including dusts and mists, when properly installed using the 3M™ Filter Retainer 501.

The prefilters are replaceable, allowing users to change the particulate filter without replacing the gas and vapor cartridge, providing a cost-effective and efficient solution. They are easy to install and require minimal training.

These prefilters are compatible with a wide range of 3M™ Half Facepiece Respirators (6000, 6500/6500QL, 7500 Series) and 3M™ Full Facepiece Respirators (6000, FF-400, 7800 Series), as well as 3M™ Scott™ AV-3000 HT and AV-3000 SureSeal Facepieces with the AV-632 Bayonet Adapter, helping to simplify inventory management.

Certification & Protection Level

NIOSH approved as N95 or P95 particulate filters

Suitable for environments with oil-based (P95) and non-oil-based (N95) particulates

Provides protection up to 10× OSHA PEL with half facepieces and 50× OSHA PEL with full facepieces when properly fit tested

Note: Not suitable for IDLH (Immediately Dangerous to Life or Health) environments. Replace the prefilters if they become dirty, damaged, or difficult to breathe through.
