3M™ Bayonet Gas & Vapor Cartridges feature a secure bayonet-style connection designed to fit all compatible 3M™ Bayonet Reusable Half and Full Facepiece Respirators. The low-profile, swept-back design helps improve the user’s field of vision, balance, and comfort, making them suitable for extended use in various hazardous work environments.

These cartridges are quick and easy to install—simply align the bayonet connection and twist a quarter turn to lock securely in place. They are compatible with 3M™ 6000, 6500/6500QL, and 7500 Series Half Facepieces, as well as 3M™ 6000, FF-400, and 7800 Series Full Facepieces, and 3M™ Scott™ AV-3000 HT and AV-3000 SureSeal Facepieces when used with the AV-632 Bayonet Adapter, helping reduce inventory complexity.

Designed with an optimized activated carbon bed, these cartridges effectively adsorb a wide range of gases and vapors while maintaining low breathing resistance and extended service life. They are NIOSH-approved and provide respiratory protection up to 10× OSHA PEL with half facepieces and 50× OSHA PEL with quantitatively fit-tested full facepieces.

Note: Not suitable for IDLH (Immediately Dangerous to Life or Health) environments or areas with high particulate concentrations. Cartridges should be replaced according to a documented change-out schedule or earlier if odor, taste, or irritation is detected.
